Food Fermenting Workshop

A partnership between The Centre for Contemporary Art and Thrive Local Organic Food Hub, this intergenerational food-fermenting workshop is open to adults and children from age 6 (accompanied by parents). Taking place alongside CCA’s current exhibition, “Kills 99.9% of Bacteria”, this hands-on workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to make their own fermented products to take home with them. Learn about the trillions of bacterial organisms that live inside our bodies and the amazing and delicious ways that bacteria and yeasts can transform food!
